Red Band trailer for The Killer Elite makes one final plea

Cuttin' it a little close, we're now getting one final red band trailer for Killer Elite, in hopes of luring action junkies away from Taylor Lautner's squeaky clean Abduction. To be honest, it's really not that bad. Explosions, gunfire, and dudes looking mildly constipated isn't the film's biggest problem. But since it comes out tomorrow and you can read my review then, I'll save the critiques for later.

All you really need to know is that Jason Statham plays (of course) an hitman with a conscience, who tries to get out and lead a quiet life. He's sucked back in when his old mentor(Robert De Niro) is kidnapped and held for ransom. Coming to the rescue, he runs afoul of a secretive, elite group known as the Feather Men, who send their attack dog(Clive Owen) to clean up Statham's mess. The film is supposedly based on truth, chronicled in a highly disputed novel by Ranulph Fiennes.

Check out the trailer below(courtesy of JoBlo) in the comfort of your home, and look out for my review of Killer Elite tomorrow morning....
