Disney Update: Pixar's upcoming dinosaur film now titled 'Frozen'; 'The Avengers' confirmed in 3D

Is Pixar going all Ice Age on us or what? Last August, the hit-making animation studio set aside a couple of release dates for two of their big projects coming our way in 2013 and 2014. One, set for May 30th 2014 appears to be the home for Peter Docter's high concept film taking place inside the mind of a young girl. But the first one, which we had been calling the Untitled Pixar Film About Dinosaurs, had locked up a date of November 27th 2013. Today Pixar announced that the film will be titled Frozen, and yes, it will still be about dinosaurs.

All we really know about it at this point is that Bob Peterson will direct it, and the story will present a world in which dinosaurs never went extinct.

Moving on to the Marvel side of the Mouse House, one thing that we never quite got a confirmation on was whether or not Joss Whedon's The Avengers would be in 3D or not. Well, take this as a possible clue: the superhero flick is now officially titled The Avengers 3D

And lastly, Marvel has moved one of their mystery comic book projects up from June 27th 2014, to April 4th 2014. We still have no clue what it could be, but my fingers are crossed it's Runaways or Guardians of the Galaxy. Most likely it will just be the Captain America sequel. [Deadline]
