And the struggle to turn Amanda Seyfried into a star continues. Last month we saw the first trailer for Gone, another throwaway thriller she's starring in(like Chloe) that looks like it'd be better served on the Lifetime Channel. She plays Jill Parrish, who returns home one night to discover that her sister, Molly, has vanished. Jill, who survived a kidnapping attempt once in her life, believes that the same man is back and now holds her sister hostage. Unfortunately, nobody believes her, and Jill must do whatever it takes to find Molly and expose her abductor.
Directed by Brazilian filmmaker, Heitor Dhalia, the film stars Wes Bentley, Jennifer Carpenter, Sebastian Stan, Michael Pare, and Joel David Moore. Summit Entertainment, still keen on Seyfried after her surprise hit, Letters to Juliet, have unveiled a new poster ahead of the film's February 24th release.
