If you hadn't become bored and flipped the channel from the New York Giants' shellacking of the Atlanta Falcons yesterday, you might have noticed a QR code that was shown on screen. When accessed, the code takes you to a new clip from Chronicle, the "heroes gone bad" flick from Joshua Trank.
Starring Dane DeHaan, Alex Russell, and Michael B. Jordan, the film follows three rowdy high school friends who are mysteriously granted unbelievable superpowers, only to see their lives spiral out of control when they start using them for personal gain. 20th Century Fox is pushing pretty hard for Chronicle to be a success, as we've seen a handful of clips just in the last week.
The latest footage appears to be the moment when the guys make the discovery that imbues them with their newfound abilities. Check it out below, then watch for Chronicle when it opens on February 3rd...[Comingsoon.net]
