New clip from the Blade anime series

>sigh< Another reason to hate DirecTv for getting rid of G4, this Friday sees the premier of the Blade anime series, based on the Marvel Comics superhero and star of three popular live-action movies starring Wesley Snipes. Blade was also the subject of an awesome but short lived live-action TV series just a couple of years ago.

Featuring the voice of Harold Perrineau(Oz, Lost) as Blade, the series of 12 half hour episodes will chronicle the Daywalker's fight to avenge the death of his mother, who was bitten by a vampire while pregnant with him. His quest will take him around the world in an effort to stop the evil Deacon Frost and destroy Existence, a secret organization deeply rooted in Asia.

Mitsuyuki Masuhara is directing the show, with a script by Kenta Fukasaku(Battle Royale, Battle Royale II: Requiem). Check out a new clip from the Blade anime below...[DreadCentral]
