The whole fan made poster thing has become like a cottage industry unto itself. It started as a way for the fanboy community to show the big studios how to properly present and market the growing comic book/superhero movies, since in some cases it was like they had no idea what they were doing. And who would know better how to make a trailer or a poster for the
X-men than somebody who has read them for decades? Even now, the fan made stuff is much better than anything official, with better and more creative artists putting their talents to use.
Such is the case with
DevianART's Cure4, who has created a handful of nifty new one-sheets for Zack Snyder's
Man of Steel, and Christopher Nolan's
The Dark Knight Rises. I love the first one, with Superman in Smallville hovering over a cornfield, symbolic of his humble beginnings. Check those out below...
