Steve Carell, Steve Buscemi, and Olivia Wilde perform some magic in 'Burt Wonderstone' set pics

After checking out Steve Carell, Steve Buscemi, and Olivia Wilde on the set of Burt Wonderstone, it makes me wonder what the heck they'll do to Jim Carrey to make him look weirder than usual. Will they go full on Criss Angel style? Burt Wonderstone is the story of two rival Las Vegas magicians. Carell plays Wonderstone, who sees his career tanking as a younger, more popular entertainer(Carrey) intrudes on his territory. Steve Buscemi is Carell's former stage partner, with Wilde is his sexy assistant who leaves to side with Carrey. James Gandolfini plays the owner of the casino where Carell performs his act. Carell looks downright strange with his Tom Cruise in Collateral haircut, $10 shades and plaid suit. Buscemi is sporting a blond do that just looks odd, and Wilde is...well, she's perfectly made up and gorgeous as ever. Since the trio are together in most of these shots, I'm assuming this takes place before they all split. In one, Carell is encased in some sort of cube, probably in the midst of a trick that goes awry. 

Don Scardino(30 Rock) is directing, based on the most recent script draft from Jason Reitman(Up in the Air). There's no release date set in stone but it's possible we'll see it late this year or in early 2013.[Comingsoon, Cinemablend]
