Sure Shots: Woody Harrelson; Vera Farmiga; Ben 10

* Nicolas Winding Refn and Ryan Gosling. Steve McQueen and Michael Fassbender. Oren Moverman and Woody Harrelson? With The Messenger and the upcoming paranoid cop drama, Rampart, Moverman and Harrelson have found a nice sweet spot where they can create character driven dramas with a bit of an edge. While talking to ScreenDaily Harrelson recently revealed that he and Moverman will be working together on something else in the near future, and he seems pretty excited about it....

Harrelson: ‘Manhattan. Murder. Mystery." I’m in.”

One of my favorite actresses, the ever versatile Vera Farmiga, is set to play Fleetwood Mac singer/songwriter Christine McVie in The Drummer, the upcoming biopic on The Beach Boys' Dennis Wilson. Aaron Eckhart will play Wilson, who released the celebrated album Pacific Ocean Blue posthumously, and had a rather turbulent relationship with McVie.  Randy Miller(Bottle Shock) is directing. * Albert Torres(Henry Poole is Here) has been selected to draft a script for the live-action version of Ben 10, the popular Cartoon Network series created by comic book scribes Joe Kelly, Duncan Rouleau, Joe Casey, and Steven T. Seagle. Ahhh, four of my favorites. Anyway, the series follows a boy who discovers a wrist watch that allows him to transform into ten different superpowered aliens.  [Variety]
