Where the heck has Sienna Miller been the last few years? Remember when she was Hollywood's new "It" girl, after a couple of strong, sexy performances in Factory Girl and Interview? Despite the buzz, she never really burst into the mainstream the way people expected, although I will never forget her battles with Rachel Nichols in G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra. Burned forever into my memory, folks. She actually has a lot of promising stuff on the way, the latest of which is joining the cast of A Case of You, co-written by Justin Long.
Brendan Fraser, taking a break from starring with talking CGI animals for awhile, is along for the ride as well, making this one impressive looking cast. Evan Rachel Wood, Vince Vaughn, Busy Phillips, Peter Dinklage, Sam Rockwell, and Keir O'Donnell will all appear in the indie rom-com, with Long starring as a guy who is forced to live up to the standards of an exaggerated online dating profile.
Kat Coiro is directing, with production already underway. I don't imagine this will be a very intensive shoot, so expect to see A Case of You either late this year or early next. [Variety]
