A sequel to the 2010 action comedy, Red, doesn't seem like the kind of thing you'd see floating around Cannes, but even a film like this needs to find buyers wherever it can, and the festival is as good a spot as any. A teaser poster for Red 2 has been spotted, and while it's not much it does confirm the principle players are all indeed coming back for more fun with the "early bird special" crowd.
Plot details are still mostly under wraps, but let's be honest, it'll just be Bruce Willis, Helen Mirren, and John Malkovich teaching a bullet-riddled lesson to a bunch of doubting young whippersnappers. Catherine Zeta-Jones and Lee Byung-hun(G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra) are the newest additions to the cast, joining the returning Mary-Louise Parker. Dean Parisot(Galaxy Quest) is directing for a planned August 2nd 2013 release. [Stark Industries]
