New promo poster for Robert Pattinson's 'Mission: Blacklist'

Well that didn't take long. Just last week we learned Robert Pattinson would be leading Mission: Blacklist, where he'll play a guy tasked with hunting down Saddam Hussein. Seriously. Actually, it's based on the true story of military interrogator, Eric Maddox, based on the book he co-wrote with David Seay. It's a nice change of pace for Pattinson, who seems to be doing everything in his power to make us forget he played a sexually frustrated vampire for four years.

With Cannes right around the corner, producers on the film aren't wasting any time in trying to pitch the Hell out of it, whipping up a cheap ass poster featuring nothing but Pattinson's eyes, a bunch of code, and a simple tagline. It looks rushed, which is because it was. Bad one-sheet aside, this could be a surprisingly good film, especially with a script by Erik Jendresen(Band of Brothers). Jean-Stephane Sauvaire is directing. [MTV]
