Maybe Warner Brothers is feeling The Avengers pressure after all? For months it seemed as if the studio was kind of kicking back and letting all the buzz surrounding the final installment of Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy just swell on its own. That strategy has proven successful up to this point, as The Dark Knight Rises is a film everybody knows and is dying for, anyway. However, with the release of a new poster just yesterday, and now six new character one-sheets revealed today, it's starting to look as if drumming up a little added heat is at the forefront of somebody's mind.
The latest posters feature the three characters that there aren't a ton of questions surrounding: Christian Bale as Batman; Tom Hardy as Bane; and Anne Hathaway as Catwoman. The first three are featured with the word "Rise". The others take us back to the snowy backdrop that we saw so much set footage of in the early days of production. Ahhh, remember those? When eager bystanders were crawling over one another to snap the first photos of Tom Hardy in costume? Fun times.
