1st look at the new 'Toy Story' short film, 'Partysaurus Rex'

Disney and Pixar's decision to re-release 3D versions of some of their classic hits may have rubbed some folks the wrong way, but it certainly hasn't stopped people from turning up. The Lion King 3D performed well enough, and Finding Nemo will likely do just as well next month. But for those who may be hesitant to shell out some extra clams to see it again on the big screen, Pixar's providing a little bit of incentive in the form of a new Toy Story short film.

Entertainment Weekly has revealed the first photos from Partysaurus Rex, which follows the popular dinosaur from the hit trilogy as he goes on a little bathtub adventure with Bonnie, the new girl who took possession of the toys at the end of Toy Story 3. Taking the opportunity to reinvent himself, Rex becomes a sort of hip hop deejay, emceeing a strobelight filled party with a bunch of rubber duckies and other watery playthings.

Wallace Shawn is back to voice Rex, with longtime Pixar artist Mark Chapman making his directorial debut. We'll be able to check out Partysaurus Rex when Finding Nemo 3D hits theaters on September 14th.
