While I wouldn't exactly call the Resident Evil: Retribution panel at Comic Con one of the highlights of the week, it's hard not to sucked up in the obvious enthusiasm Paul W.S. Anderson and Milla Jojovich have for the franchise. They love their fans, of which there are indeed many, and as a thank you for the support that has led them up to the fifth(!!!) film in the series, they brought along this clip showcasing an all-out battle in Siberia between Alice and Jill Valentine(Sienna Guillory) while Li Bingbing, Michelle Rodriguez, Boris Kodjoe, and Johann Urb square off. While I appreciate a good tussle in the snow between a bunch of smokin' hot athletic babes, this scene just sort of drags. Perhaps it's all the slow-motion bullet time crap that has been out of style for a decade. The Resident Evil movies have their place, and personally I find them to be a lot of fun, but this clip just doesn't do it for me. Maybe it's a good thing this is the penultimate chapter.
