Mila Kunis joins Paul Haggis' 'Third Person'; James Franco, Casey Affleck in talks

Despite his Russell Crowe-led actioner The Next Three Days landing with a thud, Paul Haggis is moving forward with his next film, and as usual he's gathering a strong ensemble to be a part of it. With Liam Neeson and Olivia Wilde already on board for Third Person, TheWrap is now reporting that Mila Kunis is the latest addition, with James Franco and Casey Affleck in talks.

The story is being kept under wraps, with Haggis writing and directing the film described as a global romantic drama following three interlocking love stories that takes place in Paris, New York, and Rome. Neeson will play a journalist, with Wilde as a gossip columnist. It's unclear what Kunis, Franco, or Affleck would be doing in the $28M budgeted film.

Haggis is always at his worst when directing his own scripts(don't talk to me about Crash!), so I'm wary of this one already. Still, the cast is too intriguing to be totally written off. If everything falls into place, production should begin in October.
