New clip of Jennifer Lawrence in 'House at the End of the Street'

With The Apparition, The Awakening, and The Possession all crowding into theaters within weeks of one another, you'd think it was Halloween rather than the butt end of August. While the prospects of those three films are pretty low, House at the End of the Street probably has the most potential to earn a few bucks with the power of Jennifer Lawrence's name fronting it.

Hopefully the film is more spooky than this tepid new clip turns out to be, showing Lawrence's character getting freaked out by nothing while doing the dishes. The plot is standard issue horror stuff: family moves into a new town to start a new life, the neighborhood has a murderous history, bad crap starts to happen. You know the drill. Elisabeth Shue and Max Thierot co-star in the Mark Tonderai-directed film, due out in theaters on September 21st. Frankly, it looks terrible, but I could watch Lawrence do the dishes all night. Check out the clip below, followed by a short featurette....
