The teaser trailer for Iron Man 3 is set to drop on Tuesday, but Marvel was running a Facebook campaign where they would unveil some sneak peek footage if they hit 500,000 "Likes". Of course it didn't take long for that to happen, and now they've lived up to their end of the bargain with this first look at what to expect.
I was hoping it would be more in line with what they revealed at Comic-Con, but it's really just a quick sizzle reel of Tony Stark(Robert Downey Jr.) surrounded by the press; a brief glimpse at Ben Kingsley as the evil Mandarin; and Pepper Potts(Gwyneth Paltrow) in an extreme state of duress. There's also some shots of the new Mark XLVII armor in action.
The footage is only 17 seconds long, but should be enough to tide us over for a couple of days. Iron Man 3 is directed by Shane Black and opens on May 3rd.
