Marvel slots Edgar Wright's 'Ant-Man' for 2015

There are a lot more questions than answers regarding Edgar Wright's upcoming Ant-Man film, not the least of which is when the film would begin filming and finally open in theaters. While many were hoping and maybe expecting that it be ready to for 2014, it turns out Marvel has other plans, setting it up to release on November 6th 2015.

So obviously that puts a solid six months after The Avengers sequel, which means my theory that it would be the final Marvel film to hit right before it has been blown out of the water. But that doesn't mean Ant-Man won't be seen beforehand. I'd expect that he'll be seen at least once in order to boost interest, and maybe even pop up in multiple films. The direction of the Marvel Cinematic Universe seems to be putting an increased emphasis on nanotechnology, robotics, and advanced weaponry, as we saw in the one-shot Item 47 and we'll see in Iron Man 3. These are all in Hank Pym's field of expertise. His name was actually cut out of a scene in Thor involving Dr. Selvig(Stellan Skarsgard), so maybe a cameo in Thor: The Dark World is possible?

Now the task of finding someone to star can begin. Who do you want to see playing Ant-Man?
