In case you missed it, yesterday saw the release of a sneak peek at the trailer for Iron Man 3, which is due to hit the web some time tomorrow. It's pretty short, but offers up looks at Tony Stark's new armor, Pepper Potts, and Ben Kingsley as the Mandarin. As the Marvel marketing begins to crank up to 11, USA Today has a handful of new photos to whet your appetite for tomorrow.
The shots hint strongly at Potts(Gwyneth Paltrow) having a bigger role this time as her relationship with the Tony(Robert Downey Jr.) deepens. I'm fairly certain she's going to die or be severely injured by Mandarin, as a means of sending Iron Man into a justifiable rage. Or maybe it will be the returning Jon Favreau as Happy Hogan, as he's a character we all recognize and like but isn't especially integral to the story. Also, there's a shot of War Machine's Iron Patriot armor.
Iron Man 3 is directed by Shane Black and co-stars Guy Pearce, Rebecca Hall, Don Cheadle, James Badge Dale, Ashley Hamilton, Wang Xueqi, William Sadler, and Stephanie Szostak. Look for it to hit theaters on May 3rd 2013....
