The trailer for 'Iron Man 3' is here!

Tony Stark(Robert Downey Jr.) is the guy we hate to love. He's brash, rich, powerful, and has everything a person could hope for. But in the wake The Avengers, it's clear that something has changed within him, and that change is reflected in the surprisingly dark trailer for Iron Man 3.

After a ton of photos and sneak peeks, the trailer is here and it's probably not what most people were expecting. There's absolutely none of Tony's usual banter and wisecracks, focusing instead on his shaken ego after the events of The Avengers, and his concern over the woman he loves, Pepper Potts(Gwyneth Paltrow). His fears prove justifiable with the emergence of Mandarin(Ben Kingsley) who, indecipherable foreign accent aside, seems to have a vendetta against all heroes and Tony Stark in particular. The special effects are off the charts, and in general this film has a very different tone under the direction of Shane Black than it ever did with Jon Favreau. 

Overall, it looks typically spectacular, and the laughs will surely come as Tony gets his mojo back.  So get ready, folks, Iron Man 3's going to be all over the place until it opens next year on May 3rd...
