The Punch Drunk Interview with 'Star Wars' special effects guru Nick Maley

A glimpse at Nick Maley's filmography is like charting the course of the greatest science-fiction and fantasy films of the last forty years. As part of the visual effects team that helped create Yoda in Star Wars, to his work on the famous Cantina scene, plus his work on The Empire Strikes Back, Nick was an integral piece to the development of George Lucas' beloved franchise. He went on to put his midas touch for creature design and make-up artistry in films such as Superman, Krull, and Highlander, and we were lucky enough to talk to him about his amazing career. And come on, you KNOW we had to ask him about Star Wars: Episode VII, and he's got some pretty interesting revelations on things Lucas has said in the past that may hint as to the film's direction. Tune in and listen to the show below, then check out ThatYodaGuy.com for more on what Nick is working on now!
