New posters for 'The Great Gatsby', 'A Haunted House', and 'Broken City'

It was like a sucker punch to the gut when Baz Luhrmann's glitzy adaptation of The Great Gatsby got bumped to next year, and what made it worse was that we stopped seeing any promo material for it at all. Lately that's changed, and now a pair of sweet new character posters have been unveiled.

Featuring passages from F. Scott Fitzgerald's wonderfully detailed novel, the posters feature a pipin' hot Isla Fisher all decked out in red as Myrtle Wilson. The other showcases Joel Edgerton, as her douchebag lover, Tom Buchanan. I need a pair of those glasses, post haste.  The Great Gatsby opens on May 10th 2013.

Marlon Wayans returns to the realm of horror parody with A Haunted House, which takes a humorous stab at found footage flicks like Paranormal Activity, although in this new one-sheet they're obviously riffing on The Devil Inside.  Directed by Michael Tiddes and co-written by Wayans and Rick Alvarez, the film follows a couple who come to realize their entire relationship has been haunted by demon. Essence Atkins, Cedric the Entertainer, David Koechner, and Nick Swardson all make appearances in the film slotted for January 11th 2013.

And fresh off the newly released trailer comes a rather artsy one-sheet for Broken City, the political thriller that sees Mark Wahlberg as a private investigator squaring off against Russell Crowe's corrupt mayor. Directed by Allen Hughes and featuring Catherine Zeta-Jones, Jeffrey Wright, and Kyle Chandler, the film is set to open on January 18th.
