New posters for 'G.I. Joe: Retaliation', 'Side Effects', 'Stoker', and more

Since most people will probably be too busy to notice them over the holiday, studios are pumping out a bunch of new posters to catch your attention now, so let's check out a few of them....

First up is the newly re-shot, 3D-enhanced G.I. Joe: Retaliation, now with more Channing Tatum for your viewing pleasure. We've seen more than a dozen posters for this film already and they're starting to get hard to tell apart. Tatum, Dwayne Johnson, Bruce Willis, Adrienne Palicki and more(including RZA!!!!) play the heroes you loved as a child, battling the evil forces of COBRA who have now infiltrated the White House. G.I. Joe: Retaliation opens on March 29th 2013.

Not quite as clever as the prescription label one-sheet from a few days ago, this new one for Steven Soderbergh's Side Effects is still pretty good, and makes it perfectly clear what you're in for. The film deals in pharmaceutical drugs, with Rooney Mara playing a woman who turns to medication to deal with the anxiety caused by her husband's return from prison. Channing Tatum, Catherine Zeta-Jones, and Jude Law co-star in what should be one of the best winter season films, arriving on February 8th.

Am I the only one getting an Addams Family vibe from this latest poster for Stoker? Tell me you can't see Wednesday Addams there flanked by Morticia and Gomez? The English-language debut by Park Chan-Wook, the film stars Mia Wasikowska as a girl dealing with the death of her father, quickly followed by the return of her mysterious uncle. Oh, and her mother's a bit of a loon. Stoker stars Matthew Goode and Nicole Kidman, arriving in theaters on March 1st.

And just in case the last two posters had you thinking the January and February months wouldn't be so bad, a new poster for the supernatural horror film Dark Skies has landed. Starring Keri Russell and Josh Hamilton, it follows a family terrorized by a deadly force. From the producers of Paranormal Activity and Insidious, Dark Skies opens on February 22nd.
