Production is now underway on Anchorman: The Legend Continues, according to Steve Carell's appearance on The Tonight Show, and so we're getting a look at the final cast roster...surprise cameos obviously excluded. The latest to be added to the cast are Meagan Good (Deception) and Dylan Baker, joining fellow newcomers Kristen Wiig, James Marsden, and possibly John C. Reilly.
We recently learned that the film would send our favorite Action News team to New York City, no better place to deal with the advent of the 24-hour news cycle. The story will also involve the growing racial diversity in the news business, with Good taking on the role of Ron Burgundy's new boss. I'm sure that will go over well. Baker, who is probably best known for never becoming The Lizard in three Spider-Man movies, has a role that hasn't been made clear yet.
Starring Will Ferrell, Paul Rudd, Christina Applegate, and David Koechner, Anchorman: The Legend Continues hits theaters on December 20th.
