Three new clips from Danny Boyle's 'Trance'
We say this often around here, but there are some films you simply need to walk into with as little information as possible. Danny Boyle's mind-screw of a heist movie, Trance, is certainly one of those. Starring James McAvoy as an art dealer who gets mixed up with a gang led by Vince Cassel, their plan to steal a priceless work of art is complicated when the dealer takes a knock on the head and forgets where he hid the goods. Rosario Dawson is the hypnotist hired to dig around in his head and secure its location, but that's just the beginning of what is a twisty roller coaster unlike anything Boyle has ever done.
Three new clips have been released which open a window to the pulse-pounding thriller without giving too much away. Two of these clips take place near the beginning, with one showing the incident that leads to the dealer's amnesia. The other takes place later, and the most it accomplishes is showing that McAvoy and Dawson come to be more than just patient and doctor.
Trance hits theaters on April 5th.[via ThePlaylist]
