Pixar releases one final 'Monsters University' trailer
We've seen a lot of footage from Disney/Pixar's Monsters University, and each have gone a long way in showing that this won't just be Monsters, Inc. revisited. Instead, the prequel is more of a raucous college comedy in the Animal House mold, detailing the early run-ins between eventual best friends Mike Wazowski (Billy Crystal) and James "Sully" Sullivan (John Goodman). With the film due out in just a few weeks, the studios have released one final, fun-filled trailer which you can check out below.
Featuring the voices of f Steve Buscemi, Helen Mirren, John Krasinski, Nathan Fillion, Bonnie Hunt, Dave Foley, Sean Hayes, Joel Murray, Peter Sohn, Aubrey Plaza and John Ratzenberger, Monsters University opens in 3D on June 21st.
Monsters University - Final Trailer by IGN
PLOT: Ever since college-bound Mike Wazowski (voice of Billy Crystal) was a little monster, he has dreamed of becoming a Scarer—and he knows better than anyone that the best Scarers come from Monsters University (MU). But during his first semester at MU, Mike’s plans are derailed when he crosses paths with hotshot James P. Sullivan, “Sulley” (voice of John Goodman), a natural-born Scarer. The pair’s out-of-control competitive spirit gets them both kicked out of the University’s elite Scare Program. To make matters worse, they realize they will have to work together, along with an odd bunch of misfit monsters, if they ever hope to make things right.
