The early months of the year tend to be, as I like to put it, the "cinematic dregs". Even though we have very little to look forward to during the cold winter, there are still a few films that stand out, and this year one of those was Steven Soderbergh's
Side Effects. The drug-world thriller stars Jude Law, Rooney Mara, Catherine Zeta-Jones, and Channing Tatum, and explores the consequences when a psychiatrist gets in over his head with a patient. It's
a film I called a "slick and stylish" thriller, and now we have a few Blu-Ray copies for some of our loyal readers.
