Totally epico trailer for Robert Rodriguez's 'Machete Kills'!

If Robert Rodriguez and Danny Trejo broke the celebrity bank with the oddball casting in Machete, it's nothing compared to the bizarre ensemble he's put together for the anticipated sequel, Machete Kills. With Lady Gaga, Mel Gibson, Sofia Vergara, Charlie Sheen...*ahem*, I mean Carlos Estevez, and more it's like a TMZ smorgasboard the likes of which doesn't come around too often. A leaked version of the trailer debuted last week but was quickly yanked, but now the official version is here and it looks bloody and bonkers in the best way possible.

With the same goofy grindhouse style that made the first film so much fun, Machete Kills features Vergara bustin' caps from out of her bra, Estevez as the POTUS, and a katana-wielding Gibson, As for the plot, it involes Machete hired by the President to stop a villain with aims of launching a rocket into space, but does that really matter?  Best to just relish in the flashy, flaming intros for random co-stars Amber Heard, Demian Bichir, Cuba Gooding Jr., Michelle "taco time" Rodriguez, and Antonio Banderas.

Basically, this is for those who loved the first film and want to see how Rodriguez could possibly up the ante. Just wait until the red band promos start rolling out. Machete Kills opens September 13th.
