Michael Bay Still Says 'No" to Megan Fox in 'Transformers 4'

Those hoping we'd get to see Bumblebee flash his headlights at Megan Fox's tail lights in Transformers 4 are going to be awfully disappointed, at least if Michael Bay is to be taken at his word. A screw-up involving Paramount's Official Instagram account led many to speculate that Fox would at least be making a cameo in the film, possibly behind the wheel of a flashy new Lamborghini. Bay has actually broached the subject of Fox returning before, just a couple of months ago, actually, and is now reiterating his prior stance by tweeting a link to that old story....

After their public fallout a few years ago got Fox booted from the Transformers franchise that made her a star, the two buried the hatchet in time for Bay to cast her in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. So there was every reason to believe the partnership would continue, but there's also just as much reason to not believe a word of what Bay is saying. It was last fall that Bay was denying publicly that he wanted Mark Wahlberg for his next Transformers flick, only to have the actor signed and ready to go just a few days later. So he's not exactly forthright when it comes to matters such as this, and I doubt anybody will be surprised if Fox is spotted on set at some point, probably in a pair of booty shorts.

Transformers 4 is in production now for release on June 27th 2014.
