"Kick evil square in the balls". To this point most of the focus surrounding Kick-Ass 2 has been on the characters we're already familiar with, or the new addition of Jim Carrey as Colonel Stars and Stripes. But there are plenty of other colorful characters expanding on the world Mark Millar created, and we're getting a better insight into some of them in two new viral videos.
After the events of the last film, a new team of street heroes is formed known as Justice Forever, and they're in the midst of a recruitment drive. In the first video, we see Kick-Ass's best friend Marty (Clark Duke) now known as Battle Guy, and he's joined by Insect Man (Robert Emms), a former cop looking for some street justice. The second video centers on Doctor Gravity (Donald Faison), wielding his Zero-G Device which just looks like a college baseball bat with some doo-dads attached.
It also sounds like the villain squad led by The Mother Fucker (Christopher Mintz-Plasse) will be known as the Toxic Mega Douchebags, which is considerably more appropriate than their name in the comics, the Toxic Mega Cunts. Kick-Ass 2 opens on August 16th.
