New Suibokuga Poster Of Jean Grey In 'The Wolverine'

Although it appeared that none of the other X-men would be turning up in The Wolverine, once Famke Janssen was spotted on set it became clear that Jean Grey would fit in the story somehow. She's since been a part of the trailers in what look to be dream sequences as Logan (Hugh Jackman) continues to deal with the impact of her demise in X-men: The Last Stand. She apparently weighs on his mind so much that she's getting her own poster, done in the same ink-heavy suibokuga style as earlier ones featuring Silver Samurai, Wolverine, Yukio, and Viper.

The Wolverine opens on July 26th. 20th Century Fox deserves credit for attempting to do something a little different with the marketing, and not just giving us the same old Photoshopped nonsense most other studios crank out.

Based on the celebrated comic book arc, this epic action-adventure takes Wolverine, the most iconic character of the X-Men universe, to modern day Japan. Out of his depth in an unknown world he faces his ultimate nemesis in a life-or-death battle that will leave him forever changed. Vulnerable for the first time and pushed to his physical and emotional limits, he confronts not only lethal samurai steel but also his inner struggle against his own immortality, emerging more powerful than we have ever seen him before.
