Filming on Brad Bird and Damon Lindelof's super-secret Tomorrowland should begin soon, and while we still don't have too much confirmed about it, the talent in front of the camera should match what's behind it. With George Clooney and Hugh Laurie already on board, the search was on for the female lead, and now she's finally been found.
The Wrap reports that Britt Robertson will take on the role of Casey, the film's heroine and a high schooler who knows her way around technology. Clooney plays a genius who was kicked out of Tomorrowland as a child, and now as a middle-aged man he's back to save Tomorrowland's future with Casey's help, and that of a female android named Athena, played by Raffey Cassidy.
Robertson will be seen next in Delivery Man opposite Vince Vaughn, and stars in the hit series, Under the Dome. Tomorrowland hits theaters on December 9th 2014.
