Dominic Cooper Is the Man Who Created James Bond In 'Fleming'

Dominic Cooper could probably play James Bond some day. At least if producers are looking for someone else who can look like a glistening god while stepping out of the ocean. Did you see Mama Mia? Cooper's pretty damn ripped. And at least in this brief teaser for Fleming, where he plays James Bond creator Ian Fleming, he seems to have the super spy thing down pat.

Fleming is 4-part miniseries airing on SKY Atlantic that follows the early career of the famous 007 author, set against the flowing martinis and free love of post-war London. The breakout of WWII led to his being recruited into Naval Intelligence, and his experience in putting together crucial missions became his inspiration for the creation of James Bond.  None of that is apparent in this brief teaser, which playfully puts Fleming in the role of secret agent, pistol drawn and looking for Dr. No or something.

Directed by Mat Whitecross (Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll) and co-starring Anna Chancellor, Lesley Manville, Rupert Evans, Lara Pulver, Annabelle Wallis, and Samuel West, Fleming begins early next year.
