Dustin Hoffman and Bobby Cannavale Join 'Chef'; Adam Horovitz In 'While We're Young'
The other film besides The Butler that is in the midst of a title dispute is Jon Favreau's Chef, which a few weeks ago was given a cease-and-desist order with instruction to find a new name, pronto. That apparently hasn't happened yet, but the film is moving along pretty well, and with fellow Marvelites Robert Downey Jr. and Scarlett Johansson in the lead roles, it's probably going to be big. The latest additions to the cast are screen legend Dustin Hoffman and character actor, Bobby Cannavale. The film centers on a chef who loses everything, and starts up a food truck business with hopes of regaining his culinary promise and reconnecting with his family. Sofia Vegara and John Lequizamo are co-starring. Hopefully Favreau can iron out something with the producers behind Bradley Cooper's film so it can have a more solid title going forward.
Adam Horovitz, aka legendary rhyme dropper Ad-Rock of the Beastie Boys,is jumping in front of the camera in Noah Baumbach's While We're Young. The story follows two couples, an older pair played by Ben Stiller and Naomi Watts, with Amanda Seyfried and Adam Driver as a young lovers who teach them to be carefree and spontaneous. Horovitz will play a friend to Stiller and Watts, a guy who can no longer relate to them now that he has a child.
