Guys, I just can't with Lars von Trier. I'm sorry, I just don't get it. AT ALL. I always argue with fellow PDC-er Travis Hopson over this, because he adores von Trier and really liked Melancholia and I just wanted Kirsten Dunst to kill herself already, but I just ... no.
Which is why this new clip of von Trier's upcoming Nymphomaniac also does nothing for me, except for make me really uncomfortable and never want to think about sex again. Like ... ever.
This quite-probably-NSFW clip is from chapter two of the film, which will focus on Charlotte Gainsbourg's character's Joe's relationship with Shia LaBeouf as Jerôme. The official description of the clip is as follows:
Though love is a shallow feeling in the eyes of the cynical nymphomaniac, young Joe is met by forces penetrating her armoured defences.
His name is Jerôme.

I mean, do I really want to see Shia having sex with anyone? Probably not. But if you care about Nymphomaniac and you're weird just like Travis, then I guess this clip will be interesting for you? Or something?
Anyway, Nymphomaniac comes out on Christmas Day in Denmark - it doesn't have a definitive release date in the U.S. yet - so there's that.
