Natalie Dormer Joins 'Posh'; Barry Pepper to 'Kill the Messenger'; 'Transformers 4' Adds Han Geng

* Game of Thrones star Natalie Dormer has joined the ensemble cast of Posh, an adaptation of the acclaimed stageplay, with Lone Scherfig (An Education) at the helm. The story focuses on two first-year students eager to join the Riot Club, a fictional version of the highly exclusive Billingdon Club, a group who throw lavish dinner parties and grand rituals where they trash the place and regularly abuse the owners. On one particular night their actions go too far and end in violence. At this point it's unclear if Robert Pattinson, Sam Claflin, Max Irons, and Douglas Booth are officially attached, as speculated just a few months ago. [Deadline]

* The fact-based whistleblower film Kill the Messenger continues to rack up an impressive cast, with Jeremy Renner, Rosemarie DeWitt, Michael K. Williams, and Paz Vega already on board. The latest to join famed character actor Barry Pepper, who has already been seen in Snitch and The Lone Ranger this year. The timely pic centers on journalist Gary Webb, who was the target of a CIA smear campaign after he exposed their connection to cocaine trafficking by the Nicaraguan contras. Pepper will play Russell Dodson, the federal prosecutor who tries to prevent Webb running his series of revealing newspaper articles.

* With a large part of Transformers 4 set in China, Michael Bay is pulling an Iron Man 3 and casting a number of Chinese superstars in order to boost its box office potential. The latest to join is Chinese pop sensation, Han Geng, joining the already-cast Li Bingbing in the blockbuster film. Dubbed China's "King of Popularity", Geng began his career as part of the Korean boy band Super Junior before making the move into acting. Mark Wahlberg, Nicola Peltz, Jack Reynor, TJ Miller, Stanley Tucci, Kelsey Grammer, and Sophia Myles will lead Transformers 4 when it opens on June 27th 2014.
