Third Clip from 'The Wolverine' Takes Logan to WWII
In the X-men comics, Wolverine has been around a very long time. His healing factor doesn't just make him really tough to kill, but it slows down his aging to the point where he's lived for hundreds of years. And like any immortal creature, living forever and watching his friends die has started to become a burden Logan no longer wants to carry. At least that seems to be a large part of the idea surrounding The Wolverine, and the latest clip flashes us back to WWII when Wolverine risked his life to save a Japanese soldier. That same soldier will play a crucial factor later on, offering him a chance to finally lose the mutant powers which have kept him alive for so long.
The Wolverine stars Hugh Jackman, Will Yun Lee, Hiroyuki Sanada, Brian Tee, Rila Fukushima, Svetlana Khodchenkova, and Tao Okamoto, and opens on July 26th.
