'70s Hair Runs Wild In Five 'American Hustle' Character Posters

Oh the hair! The hair is a must!!! If the new character posters for David O. Russell's American Hustle tell us anything, it's that the star-studded political flick must have been a stylist's dream come true. Based on the 1970s Abscam scandal that rocked the halls of Congress (they were still more popular than they are now), the film stars Christian Bale as con man Irving Rosenfeld, with Amy Adams as his sexy mistress Sydney Prosser. Bradley Cooper is FBI agent Richie DiMaso, the guy who forces them to delve into the seedy world of politics and  organized crime to root out corruption. Jeremy Renner, sporting a Kennedy hairdo, is a popular New Jersey politician caught in the sting operation's grip, while Jennifer Lawrence is Rosenfeld's wife.

Hopefully we'll get posters for the impressive supporting cast that includes Robert De Niro, Michael Pena, Louis C.K., Jack Huston, Alessandro Nivola, Elisabeth Rohm, and Dawn Olivieri. American Hustle gets a limited opening on December 13th before going wide Christmas Day.
