Bruce Willis and M. Night Shyamalan to Reunite for 'Labor of Love'

There was a time when both Bruce Willis and M. Night Shyamalan were at the top of their game, and really it wasn't that long ago. The two had paired up for The Sixth Sense and the director's most successful film creatively, Unbreakable (it's my favorite, anyway), but neither has done much worth celebrating since. With Shyamalan managing to make even a Will Smith movie flop with After Earth, and Willis coming off another awful Die Hard entry, the two are re-teaming in hopes of recapturing the old glory.

Deadline reports they'll pair up for Labor of Love, a tearjerker based on one of Shymalan's first screenplays. Here's how they break down the plot....

In Labor Of Love, Willis will play a Philadelphia book store owner who loses the love of  his life in a tragic accident. Never big on words, he becomes haunted by the notion that he never properly told his wife how much he loved her. Since she once asked if he would walk across the country for her, he decides to show her posthumously just how much he did love her. That trek starts from Philadelphia to Pacifica, CA, which was her favorite place.

Definitely sounds more romantic and personal than the blockbusters both men have been doing of late, which may be exactly what they need. Filming is set to begin this September.
