Given what we've learned recently about Nick Fury in Marvel's Agents of SHIELD, does he even qualify as a hero anymore? The lies he's told on that show may be carrying over to Captain America: The Winter Soldier, as we've seen him debating SHIELD's duplicitous tactics with Cap in the trailer. For now he's still one of the good guys, joining Cap and Black Widow on a trio of new character posters. They're all pretty cool and beautifully rendered (except for Johannson's oddly-shaped body), although I'm curious where the hell Black Widow is. Is she floating in mid-air or falling gracefully from the SHIELD helicarrier? Falcon may want to get a move on rescuing her if it's the latter.
Presumably we'll get more of these with Falcon and the Winter Soldier, and maybe even Frank Grillo as Crossbones. Is it too much to hope we'll get one for Emily VanCamp as Sharon Carter, or Robert Redford as Alexander Pierce?
Captain America: The Winter Soldier opens April 4th.
