Doomsday Rumored to Appear in 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice'

One of the persistent rumors regarding Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice has been the inclusion of Doomsday, the creature that killed Superman back in the epic 1992 event, The Death of Superman. Remember that crazy time? Some months back a producer at Warner Bros., one completely uninvolved with the film, mentioned Doomsday and that opened up the speculative floodgates. Nothing has been confirmed one way or another but Bleeding Cool has information that suggests Superman's killer could be making an appearance.

The site has a reliable source who says they've seen designs for Doomsday that would put him in the film. They go on to guess he could be used in some kind of flashback sequence but that wouldn't make much sense in the context of this particular Superman, and the character is mentioned briefly on the Man of Steel Blu-Ray bonus materials. There are already a ton of characters and adding a major baddie like Doomsday seems like overkill and something to be saved for a proper Justice League film. That's not to say Doomsday won't be hinted at in some way.
