Stan Lee Confirms the Cameo in 'Avengers: Age of Ultron' We Knew He'd Have

This past Thursday I tuned in to Hell's Kitchen the way I always do and, lo and behold, there was Stan Lee trying to enjoy a meal while Gordon Ramsay screamed at his chefs. This is what Lee is probably known for nowadays more than his comics work, making cameos in movies and on TV. If there's a Marvel movie out there then Lee is probably going to pop up in it, and speaking at the London Film and Comic Con event he confirmed an appearance in Avengers: Age of Ultron. Of course.

Lee: "People that had not been big stars before like the fellow who plays Thor (Chris Hemsworth) - he's wonderful! I was with him yesterday - I did my cameo of course [for Avengers: Age of Ultron].

We won't be seeing him in Guardians of the Galaxy because he had very little to do with that team's formation. Of course, he doesn't anything to do with DC's top superheroes either and that didn't stop him from offering a few words of advice for Warner Bros.' Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice...

Lee:  "DC could probably make a lot more money with Superman and Batman if they announced that I'd have a cameo in it! People wouldn't believe it - they'd have to go to the theatre to see it!"

So keep an eye out for Stan "The Man" when Avengers: Age of Ultron opens August 1st 2015.
