Originally titled Welcome to Yesterday, the Michael Bay-produced time travel film Project Almanac has been sitting on the backburner for awhile now. It was to have hit theaters earlier this year but was pushed back to 2015, and now the Butterfly Effect-esque film has unveiled a brand new trailer.
Directed by Dean Israelite and starring Jonny Weston (Taken 3), Amy Landecker (Enough Said) and other mostly unknowns, the film centers on a group of kids who construct a working time machine, only to discover that time travel is not as awesome as they hoped. Didn't these kids watch Interstellar and learn not to screw around with time and space?
Project Almanac opens January 30th 2015.
