Marvel owned the top domestic box office champ of 2014 with Guardians of the Galaxy, but can they do it again in 2015 with Avengers: Age of Ultron? The smart money is that they can, given the $1.5B success they had with The Avengers in 2012. So while Disney certainly doesn't need to go overboard in marketing the movie by any means, they've still used a healthy amount of corporate synergy to tease the next trailer.
If you were one of the millions glued to college championship football yesterday then you might have seen a preview of the next Avengers: Age of Ultron trailer, which will arrive on January 12th at 8:30pm on ESPN (which like ABC and Marvel is owned by Disney) during the National Championship game. So now you've got another reason to tune in to the action on the gridiron.
Avengers: Age of Ultron opens May 1st 2015.
