Breaking Bad star a part of Terrence Malick's next film

Even though I may have a few issues with Terrence Malick's The Tree of Life, there's no denying that the reclusive filmmaker always has something of note to say in his films. That to me makes all of his projects a huge event. It helps that it takes him a minimum of 5 years to ever complete anything. So who knows when Malick's next film will ever come out. What we do know about it is that it'll be a love story, and that the cast already includes Rachel McAdams, Ben Affleck, Jessica Chastain, Olga Kurylenko, Javier Bardem, Rachel Weisz, and Barry Pepper. Guh. Now you can add one more, and that's Charles Baker, from AMC's hit show, Breaking Bad.

What Baker's role will be is unknown, which shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone. I think we know less about this film than we did about The Tree of Life. Although it appears as if we won't have to wait as long to see this one. The film has already been shot and shopped for buyers, which means that Malick is likely hunkered down in the editing room.  He spent something like three years piecing together The Tree of Life, so I wouldn't start counting down the days just yet.

Somebody must've spiked Malick's coffee with elephant sized shots of B-12 because there are rumors of him prepping another film which is not the Brad Pitt narrated documentary, Voyage of Time. Whoever is responsible for this sudden burst of Malick productivity deserves a pat on the back and a round of drinks.
