WWE Studios fills out cast of upcoming horror film, No One Lives

WWE Studios has ventured into the realm of horror once before, with 2006's slasher See No Evil. Last month the company Vince McMahon built and Pathe UK partnered up on a deal to jump back into the genre with the horror/thriller, No One Lives. Ryuhei Kitamura(Midnight Meat Train) was brought on to direct, with Luke Evans(Clash of the Titans) set to lead. Now Variety is reporting that the rest of the cast has been finalized, and it includes one current WWE superstar.

Angus Macfadyen(Equilibrium), Alexis Dziena(Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist), Laura Ramsey(The Ruins), Lindsey Shaw(Pretty Little Liars), America Olivo(Bitch Slap), Beau Knapp, Derek Magyar(Flying Lessons) and WWE wrestler Brodus Clay have all joined the film.  This is something of a big break for Clay, who is still in his first year as a WWE superstar, but he has a bruising, unique look that I'm sure was the decisive factor in his being assigned this gig. Look how well the acting thing has worked out for John Cena....um....Ted Dibiase.....um...Kane.......Triple H?  Ok so it's really only worked for The Rock, big deal.

The story centers around a group of local criminals who kidnap a wealthy couple with every intention of torturing them. Only the tables are turned when they discover that the man is even more screwed up than they are, with a missing woman locked in the trunk of his car. Evans is expected to play the psycho dude.
