Sure Shots: Roman Coppola; The Expendables 2; The Dark Knight Rises

* It's been more than a decade since Roman Coppola's feature directing effort, the underrated CQ. Since then he hasn't exactly disappeared, working alongside his father Francis Ford Coppola on a number of films and even co-writing Wes Anderson's The Darjeeling Limited. It looks as if he's jumping back behind the camera as it's been found that his next will be titled A Glimpse Inside the Mind of Charles Swan III. The music will be scored by Roger Neil, who did the music for Mike Mills' Beginners.

* If you check Millennium Films' cast listing for The Expendables 2, it seems to confirm the addition of Chuck Norris and Jean-Claude Van Damme. The two have been rumored for months(JCVD moreso), but nothing was ever set in stone. To be honest, this should be taken with a grain of salt also until Sylvester Stallone himself comes out and makes it official. The Expendables 2 is set to hit theaters on August 17th 2012.

* The latest issue of Total Film has an interview with Juno Temple(Year One, Kaboom), whose role in The Dark Knight Rises has been shrouded in much secrecy. It's safe to say whoever she's playing is going to turn out to be a big deal, far beyond the current description of "street smart Gotham girl". Just a few days ago a rumor made the rounds that Temple may actually be Harley Quinn, the Joker's loyal, murderous assistant. But in this latest interview, Total Film refers to her character as "Holly Robinson", Catwoman's best friend and sidekick. Robinson is amongst the handful of characters deemed most likely for Temple to be playing. Temple, of course, refused to confirm or deny this claim...

Temple: "I can't talk about that. But I think it's going to be [frick]ing unbelievable. [Christopher Nolan] is awesome! There's something really gentlemanly about him. He's got an insane, incredible vision going on. Just getting the opportunity to work with him is awesome"
