Although he's set still set to play Beat Generation member Allen Ginsberg in Kill Your Darlings, Daniel Radcliffe has kept his feet firmly planted in the realm of the supernatural now that Harry Potter is over. The latest will see him donning more than a lightning bolt scar upon his head in an adaptation of Joe Hill's mystical crime thriller, Horns.
The first photo of Radcliffe as Ignatius "Ig" Perrish has been released so you can see what the actor looks like with a pair of gnarly looking horns sticking out of his dome. They're more than just window dressing, as well, granting Perrish the ability to force others to reveal their sins and give in to their worst urges. The horns only get bigger and more powerful over time, which comes in handy when Ig is forced to uncover the truth about the rape and murder of his girlfriend.
Alexandre Aja(Piranha) is directing, with Kelli Garner, Max Minghella, Juno Temple, and Joe Anderson co-starring. Expect Horns to open some time next year. [EW]
