1st photo from 'The Two Faces of January' with Kirsten Dunst, Oscar Isaac, and Viggo Mortensen

The many works of author Patricia Highsmith have been adapted numerous times. Her famous debut novel Strangers On a Train turned out to be one of Alfred Hitchcock's most recognized films. Her popular Thomas Ripley books were brought to the big screen in a feature film starring Matt Damon, and a not so good sequel with John Malkovich. Production has now begun on an adaptation of her psychological thriller, The Two Faces of January, starring Oscar Isaac, Viggo Mortensen, and Kirsten Dunst, and to celebrate they've released the first official photo.

Marking the directorial debut of Drive screenwriter Hossein Amini, the globe-trotting thriller follows a glamorous, wealthy American couple(Mortensen and Dunst) who involve an innocent Greek tour guide(Isaac) in their cover up of a murder. Their sordid game takes them on a journey through Athens, Crete, Istanbul, and London.

This is the type of character-driven, twisty mental thriller that I love, and with this cast there's plenty of reason to be excited. Amini showed with Drive that he can get inside a character's head pretty well, so this should be a perfect fit for him.
