Chances are you forgot there was an animated Tarzan movie with Kellan Lutz and Spencer Locke announced back in May. Can't really blame you, since neither is a star that's going to draw a lot of attention, despite Lutz being a part of the Twilight franchise as a character nobody talks about. Anyway, it appears the Tarzan movie got made at some point, and now the trailer is here.
To say that the motion-capture animated in Tarzan 3D is ugly is an understatement, as it barely registers above the quality of a video game cut scene.....from 1998. Lutz donned the silly suit for this one, and judging by this it was one helluva workout. So he must be pissed to see that the results are so bad, and the technology so outdated. There's no story to speak of here, nor do we see Jane as I guess they're holding her appearance for when the big marketing push happens. Waiting on baited breath for that!
Tarzan 3D is directed by Reinhard Kloos and opens internationally next summer. Check out the trailer below, followed by footage of Lutz in action.[Animate]
